I'm a scholar and performer on early Gaelic harp, or historical clàrsach, using "archaeological replicas" of the historical Irish and Scottish Gaelic harps preserved in museums, to explore the old Gaelic music. I'm interested in pìobaireachd as a resource I can raid to get ideas of how the medieval Gaelic harp music might have worked. I'm interested in the idea of old Gaelic music as one of the world's almost-lost classical musics.
