The very first installment of Allan MacDonald and Thomas Zoeller’s ambitious Canntaireachd Project to record from Colin Campbell’s Instrumental Book has officially been released (5 Dec 2018).

• Allan MacDonald playing the full pibroch in the canntaireachd-style.
• The canntaireachd text being sung interwoven with the piping version.
• An interview with Allan MacDonald including background information on the piece as well as contextual discussions (in English).
• A summary of that interview (in German; PDF-format).
• Two accompanying PDFs (English and German) that contain the complete canntaireachd, transcribed and edited from Colin Campbell’s manuscript.
