  • The Author’s Collection Three copies. One of these, from the collection of Angus A MacIntyre, is in perfect condition.

Paper covers, 13.9 x 10. 4′.

The author died in 1923 (see Piping Times, April 1973); the note on p [2] records his death while the work was in the press. C. A. Malcolm, in his book The Piper in Peace and War (1927), dates this book 1925. The author Ian MacLennan is the same John MacLennan who wrote The piobaireachd as MacCrimmon played it (no 337 above).
