  • British Library, London.* Parts 1-10, bound in one. 6.6 X 10.1’. Part 11. Library binding. 6.8 X 10.2’. Accession date listed above.
  • University Library, Cambridge. Parts 1-6 only received 24 February 1905.
  • Central Public Library, Edinburgh. Parts 1-5 only. 6.2 X10”.
  • Central Library, Dundee. Mitchell Library, Glasgow.
  • The Author’s Collection. Bound volume.

The British Museum dates are probably close to the actual publication dates. The collection is not listed by Manson, so it probably started after 1901. Volume 4 contains a tune awarded 1st Prize in the competition for the best unpublished ‘quickstep’ at the Mod in 1903.

A David Glen advertisement of 1907 lists the collection, price ls, per part, but the series was evidently not yet complete since the number of parts is not stated.

Askew mentions the 11 volumes ‘compiled and published by David Glen & Sons’, ls. each, or one volume in cloth, 16s.I

The collection was out of print by 1961.

It is not proposed to show scanned images of all 11 parts as they are all identical except for the part number.

The only part that appears to have had a second edition is Part 1.

Unicorn Limited Inc in USA offers a reproduction of all eleven books on CD. See www.scotpress.com.
